refugee tutoring
Volunteer tutors are needed to help refugee kids with school work and cultivating mentorship. The primary goal of this program is to help refugees with their school work and cultivate a memorable mentorship with them. We focus on middle and high school refugees and creating a 1-on-1 relationship with them.
Refugee food drive
There is always a need for food for refugees. They lack the money to buy food themselves, so it is the responsibility of Refugee Uplift volunteers to conduct food drives to provide food for refugee families. These food drives will be able to feed families for days.
refugee laptop drive
Especially today, refugees are in desperate need of laptops. Since the rise of virtual learning during the pandemic, they lack access to functioning devices which prohibits them from completing school work. Refugee Uplifts are needed to collect old laptops from community members to refurbish them and donate them to refugee families. This can greatly impact their quality of education and ease the tutoring process significantly for volunteers as well..
